"Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs" is the name of the event held on the 11th of March 2021, in Tripoli, Libya. Gathering the Boost it business acceleration programme participants from different Libyan cities to network and share their business experiences with other entrepreneurs from the business incubator (Stream) alumni network.
During the event, the participants shared their past failure experiences in business, how they overcame them and what they have learned in the process.
This event came as part of the first edition of the Boost it Business Acceleration programme, which was launched in January 2021 in Tunisia, with the participation of ten startups, five of them led by women entrepreneurs.
During the launch event in Tunis, the startups spent three days meeting several trainers and experts in financial management, marketing and key performance indicators (KPIs). They also met their mentors and worked together on an action plan and a roadmap to develop their business and increase their profits during the programme's remaining months.
At the end of the programme, participants will receive a financial grant to help them grow their business and implement the goals they have defined together with their mentors. The next edition's call for application has been opened lately to receive a new batch and support more startups by May 2021.
Boost it is a programme implemented by Expertise France and comes within the European Programme framework to Support the Private Sector in Libya, EU4PSL, funded by the European Union.
