3 entrepreneurs awarded on SLEIDSE business plan competition

On 11 May 2017, 10 talented Libyan entrepreneurs have participated in a Business plan pitch competition during a high level ceremony in Tunis, where they presented their business plan ideas in front of an audience composed of international investors and incubators, international businesses, media and high-ranking officials with the presence of the Ambassador of the European Union and the Libyan Ministers of Finance and Economy.

  • Marwan Alabed works on an online game on Sinbad, who is an entrepreneur, to promote entrepreneurs’ figures among the youngest
  • Assem Alrayah aims to recycle waste and use it to produce green energy
  • Hussien Kafu has begun to exploit scorpion venom to sell abroad and finance medical centers

The business plan contest is part of a larger project aiming at supporting Economic Integration, Diversification and Sustainable Environment in Libya (SLEIDSE). This project is financed by the European Union and implemented by the Expertise France.
